Cancer Moon is the Moon's home. The watery, emotional and nurturing sign of Cancer. They are one of the Sensitive Ones. These delicate souls behave just like the tides as they ebb and flow with the moon. They can be moody, but the tides can change fast. They are natural mothers in some way and their own mother is usually a very important figure in their life or their psyche. They may take on others emotions as their own, so it is very important that these highly sensitive beings have excellent self care as their top priority. They need to learn to identify when they need to recharge their batteries, so they can coninue taking care of everything around them. It would really benefit them to track their own emotions with the cycles of the moon to  find their own rhythm. They are more affected by the cycles of the moon than any other moon sign.

If they are insecure in any way they can become needy, moody, brooding or pouty. They can be hurt easily so they can be very protective of their hearts. Many may call them oversensitive, but just like the crab they need a hard shell to protect all that mushy stuff underneath. They avoid confrontation and are always searching for emotional safety. They bloom and thrive in familiar and cozy environments. They are so highly sentimental, they can sometimes idealize the past. But when these sensitive souls feel truly safe they can finally blossom and share their life giving water with those that they love.

These natural caretakers can create beautiful homes. They can be excellent gardeners and chefs. No matter where they are directing their nurturing energy, it is absolutely essential for these homebodies to create a cozy and safe home so they can truly blossom in the world.
