The Trailblazer

Aries Moon is a passionate fireball of enthusiasm. These feisty folks are emotionally impulsive, independent, creative, and can be loads of fun! When excited about something they have the enthusiasm and drive to accomplish the most daunting tasks, and can turn on their turbo charge to summon up super human strength when it’s something they’re passionate about. 

They have boundless energy when they’re fueled by passion, which can sometimes tire out those around them. The Aries moon will certainly never bore you, but you may bore them! Especially if you’re lumbering through mundane details, lacking enthusiasm, or just moving too slowly. Patience and attention to detail are not exactly their forte. With such a powerful and focused force behind the willful Aries Moon, they can truly become obsessed, if only for a brief time. They want results fast!

The Rock

Taurus Moon wants to live the good life. Good friends, good food, and a cozy home is all they need.They have both feet firmly planted on the ground. They move slowly, making sure the path is well laid ahead of them before taking a step. Financial and emotional security is first and foremost for them. They are sensual beings whose favorite thing in the world is to enjoy a good meal with the ones they love, and then cozy up and relax in a beautiful and luxurious environment.

They have a deep appreciation for fine quality, and live to enjoy the abundance of life. They are frugal on the day to day, but won't hesitate to splurge on luxury items. They love to spend money, but also seem to have an innate sense of how to handle finances.Because their focus is so strongly set on security, they manage to manifest the comforts they need. There will always be, somehow, and sometimes magically, a cushion to catch them if they fall.

The Big Kid

Gemini Moons are fun and playful spirits. Emotionally, they are the Peter Pans of the zodiac. They love excitement, adventure, and a steady stream of mental stimulation. These curious souls are usually news or information junkies of some kind. They need to know what's going on in the world. They are natural communicators, always reaching out for new information to gather, ponder, and disperse. 

They love to play, and their quick minds make them charming, flirtatious, and witty. They want to figure everything out, but once they think they have, there is a tendency to miss what lies below the surface, since their attention is so easily drawn to something new! Because they like to keep moving, they can be restless and impatient. It’s difficult to overstimulate a Gemini moon, since that is the food they live on. Their idea of a relaxing vacation is to go and do and see as much as they possibly can.

The Lover

Cancer Moon is the Moon's home. The watery, emotional and nurturing sign of Cancer. They are one of The Sensitive Ones. These delicate souls behave just like the tides as they ebb and flow with the moon. They can be moody, but the tides can change fast. They are natural mothers in some way and their own mother is usually a very important figure in their life or their psyche. They take care of the ones they love, whether it's their children, animals or friends. Their home is incredibly important to them. Creating a safe and cozy environment that they can feel safe in is so imortant for them. They can finally blossom and open up when they feel truly safe and comfortable.

Cancer Moons are incredibly creative, always initiating emotional connections, between two people, between the water and a plant, between the pen and the paper. They live the art of creation as they feel their way through the world. Their instinct is to help things grow, and their sensitivity and receptivity help them intuitively know what everyone and everything needs to grow and bloom. Sometimes more than their own needs!

The Actor

Leo Moons are natural performers, and that's why I call them The Actors. All the world's a stage for these magnanimous characters. Their emotions are romantic, bold, generous, passionate and loyal. When you are loved by a Leo Moon it is like sunbathing your heart! There is nothing that warms a heart more than basking in the love of a Leo Moon. 

Because these fiery folks are built for a show, they can sometimes focus too much on what their audience thinks of them. Their emotional expression is built to shine on "something". It would be very beneficial for these dramatic characters to focus their energy into creative self expression instead of focusing on how they are being perceived. They can have delicate egos that need lots of strokes. But when their pride is not threatened in any way they can be the most generous, warm and loving friends and partners. 

The Perfectionist

Virgo Moons are down to earth, discerning, and practical. These clever characters are usually gifted with solid common sense, and fortunately for them it's often coupled with a brilliant sense of humor. In fact, a well developed sense of humor is exactly what will save these serious ones from their own critical eye.  Virgo gets a bad reputation for being overly critical, but they are never as critical of others as they are of themselves. Of course, if someone is doing something wrong, they won’t hesitate to let them know!

 Virgo is a sign of service, and with the Moon in this delicate sign, these wise souls show their love through providing stability and offering help. If you love one of these smart and thoughtful helpers, make sure not to take advantage of their caring efforts. Virgo Moons really benefit from developing a diplomatic spirit, so they don't drive their loved ones crazy with their nit-picky ways. Without a gracious delivery, their approach can come across as judgmental, but their intent is simply to help.

The Charmer

Libra Moons are surrounded by an air of magic. These charming and gracious souls worship beauty, and seek to find pleasant and lovely surroundings in which to enjoy long conversations with their loved ones. They live for relationships, and not just the romantic ones. They want to relate to everyone they meet. These refined souls see human relations as the finest art.

Libra is an air sign, so having this light and lovely sign in the emotional moon brings a mental quality to the world of feeling. They certainly can talk about how they feel! And they can rationalize themselves into or out of almost anything. They are natural diplomats, and generally see both sides of a situation, as long as the issue doesn’t involve them personally. Ironically, they can be quite pushy sometimes, and all in their efforts to create harmony and balance. 

The Extremist

Scorpio Moons throw themselves completely into everything they do. When they fall in love, they are infinitely loyal and devoted, and will walk to the ends of the earth for their Love. This also means they will take longer than any of the other Moon signs to let go of love, even when it has clearly withered and died. Letting go isn’t exactly their strength, but delving to the depths is. If they are hurt deeply, they can't forget it easily.

Their strength is the depth of their emotions, and so their shadow is also the depth of their emotion. When they jump into the waves of their emotions they can feel caught in the undertow as well. They are one of The Sensitive Ones. When they have a healthy outlet to channel their intense emotions they can be a wellspring of creativity and also enjoy a more peaceful emotional life. Scorpio moons have complex needs in their relationships. They want to connect at the deepest level of intimacy in their hearts, bodies and souls, while at the same time also needing their time alone and privacy.

The Truth Seeker

Sagittarius Moons are the truth seekers, and the truth tellers. They value honesty above all. Their emotions are passionate and feisty, but they are also able to remove themselves from their own feelings. Their emotions are run through their philosophy more than any other moon sign. They have a naturally religious or spiritual leaning that will always be their strongest guide. They need a higher purpose. 

The truth seekers are the travellers, open to the world, looking for God or for the higher meaning of it all everywhere they go. These folks feel most at home when they're on the move. The open road is their home. They are not bogged down in the muck and mire of sticky, icky emotions that linger and fester for the rest of us. The only thing that can tie this traveller down is their own dogma. If these folks can fix their heads, they can fix it all. Sagittarius is fire in the mind, so with the Moon here, their hearts are a "mind on fire"

The CEO

Capricorn Moons Capricorn Moons are mountains of strength, reliability, leadership and dedication. They appear to be the toughest of cookies, but on the inside there is a molten core to this strong mountain. We may not see it until they feel very safe though. They are slow to open up, carefully observing their environments with their safety in mind. These responsible, hard workers have two feet on the ground. Their emotional focus is on resources, and the many resources it takes to run whatever kind of complex operation they are running. 

This practical and grounded being is comforted by the familiar and by routine. Their natural leadership skills are ever present and they often would like control over every detail in their surroundings. They also want to control their own emotions but this need for control runs the risk of removing themselves completely from their feelings. Capricorn is a yin sign, which is receptive, inward energy. They have a raw, earthy sensuality deep down that can relish in the stuff of this earthly life.

The Thinker

Aquarius Moons can think up universes. They are the innovators of the future. They are not only future thinking, but they're future feeling! They are incredibly open minded, and definitely the least judgemental of all the moon signs. They are just naturally open and accepting of everyone's unique differences. Maybe because they are so wacky, wild and weird themselves? Although, one may not see this from the outside because of the nature of the internal Moon. But underneath they definitely are "different" than most. They aren't tethererd by the same emotional strings that most of us are here are on Earth. Their home is not this planet. They are space travellers. 

The most important need they must meet for their own happiness is to feel emotionally free. This will actually make them feel safe and secure! They are happiest in social environments, comforted by communication with others. Helping humanity as a whole will be the most fulfilling work for them. They're built for relating to other humans and understanding them all from their detached viewpoint. 

The Dreamer

Pisces Moons feel everything. Their heart is like the ocean, everywhere at once. They feel the sun sparkling on the surface at the same time as exploring the un-knowable depths. They feel it all. These sensitive ones also feel all the pain and suffering in the world. When they are caught up in that I think sometimes they may forget about all the ecstatic joy out there too. They are one of The Sensitive Ones. 

Pisces Moons are the most generous, empathic, kind humans you will ever meet. They will give you the shirt off of their back. They are constantly giving and taking care of others. Their greatest lesson seems to be self care, learning to keep their own cup full so they can keep filling everyone else's cups just like they want to. These loving souls need some kind of reminder for basic self care necessities. They would benefit from a grounded partner. They are givers. So, please take care not to take advantage of their never ending wellspring of giving.
